Hey everyone
the following will be some reasons why you should LIKE this film [ https://www.facebook.com/NoDigasFilm ] and stay up to date with its production.
1. i’m in it :)
2. it’s about my experience/story as an undocumented immigrant in new york but also as a sexual abuse survivor. ANDD it’s tied together with the larger discussion of the dream act, the new york dream act, immigration reform and my involvement with the new york state youth leadership council.
3. many documentaries about immigration are about the top top top top dreamers and it makes us feel a little bit bleehhh. but i’m not perfect at all.
4. i have been filming bits and pieces of it as well. so i actually get to share with you what I want others to see about me and my life. it’s not like, someone came into my life and was like bla bla bla let me make a move about poor illegal girl. say this say that. don’t say this. mm lets cover that up.
5. we’ve been working really hard!

7. i have input on what is happening and where things are going so i’m trying my best to make sure this is good. and relateable. and awesome but still gets the point across and is not some hollywood happy as shit movie. because being undocumented ain’t a disney vacation.
